Working bee: Furniture construction with pallet wood
What: we will build an outdoor setting/sofa for clients of Earth Recovery, Toolo and general community use
When: Saturday 30th November, from 9am to 3pm, or longer if required
Where: Junction 142, 142 Katoomba St, behind Toolo Library
Cost: FREE
What to bring: working clothes, enclosed shoes, protective equipment if you have any (ear muffs/ masks etc) some will be available. Your own lunch!
Who: anyone with an interest in contributing to a community project, with or without skills.
You will have the opportunity to observe some demo skills and to participate in some hands-on activities. Eg how to disassemble pallets, use of some power tools and painting.
