Toolo, the Blue Mountains Tool Library is committed to slowing the spread of COVID-19 and would like to reassure our members that you can safely borrow our items and that all necessary precautions are being taken to minimise the risks of community transmission.
We’ve developed a COVID-19 Safety Plan which includes implementing a cleaning schedule and procedures for our library coordinators. We’re asking members to reserve your items ahead of visiting the library, browsing the library is only available online on our library collection page. If you need a hand reserving an item online please get in touch, we have developed video instructions for members to make this process easy for you. All our tools are cleaned once returned and the items are dropped into a return box outside of the library. Our staff are cleaning items using gloves and alcohol based cleaning products. All our surfaces and high contact points are cleaned throughout our hours of operation.
Any time you visit the library areas or outside the library we request that you keep practicing good hygiene and social distancing. Remember the whole 1.5m rule, if you need a tape measure we’ve got you covered!
